Almost perfectly coinciding with the launch of the Phoenix Ad Blog is an in person physical group, the Phoenix Marketers. From their website:
Phoenix Marketers is a monthly social meetup for Arizona marketing professionals who want to share ideas, give advice, and offer resources for dealing with the ever-increasing complexity of the marketing industry.
This isn’t about reciting your elevator pitch or handing out business cards. There are plenty of other meetings for that. This is about getting involved and giving back.
Their first meetup is January 8th, 2009 at 7pm over at Gangplank.
