Local interactive agency Sitewire last year spun off a new business venture, agencyside, which offers digital marketing training for advertising agencies.
Their latest round of seminars is being held April 27-28, with the following offerings:
- Search Results: Best practices in managing paid and organic search for your clients ($699)
- @SocialMedia: Using social media in meaningful ways for your clients and your agency ($699)
- Selling Digital: How to price, scope, concept and pitch digital marketing engagements. ($899)

Thanks for the post about agencyside. Sitewire offered digital marketing education to about 35-40 small- to mid-size traditional agencies over the last year but only 3 of them to my memory were from the Phoenix area. While on the surface it might seem odd we would offer to better educate “competitors”, we believe this effort works to further legitimize the interactive space. Some of the agencies attending last year have built a nice digital practice in a short amount of time and, in the process, become active in the space and evangelists for the type of work we do. We hope to see that continue as we fly our education programs under the new agencyside flag.
