For those keeping score, below is a photo update of the Qwest junk mail I’ve received after I lost it and requested to be removed from their list. I even received a “personal” note from the desk of Elizabeth Hudgings herself!

I do have to admit, at its core they are running one hell of an awesome direct mail campaign.
Does anyone know who is doing the printing and/or campaign itself?
I’ll give this post a lil love. I have not been berated with Qwest mailers, but from Cox I have. I canceled my cable tv last year when it became obsolete to me, thanks to Hulu, Boxee and Apple TV. Everyday, I get a mailer to remind me of how cheap their bundling is, if I were to install a land line. But I don’t need a land line. Technology has changed, and cable companies are hurting. Their response to that is to send out more direct mail. The volume of it doesn’t actually convince me to get a land line, so I’m curious to see what their next angle might be. Probably “Pay us for a land line, or your internet bill will be $99.99.”
Has anyone else cut off their cable tv because it’s available online?
I do believe most fo the Quest design and print comes out of Denver, Colorado and New Mexico. Arvizu in Phoenix had been doing the Spanish versions.
Gotta love a direct mail campaign that doesn’t look out of place next to an iMac. Good design wins, no matter the medium! Yay!
Russ:
Hi, it’s Elizabeth again. I apologize that you are still receiving Qwest mail and would prefer not to be. I will be happy to get you taken off of our mailing list. In order to do so, I need your business name and business telephone number. If you could send those to me (elizabeth.hudgings@qwest.com), I will take care of this for you right away.
Thank you.
Elizabeth Hudgings
